Why would they bother searching when posting something that has been asked dozens of times gives them +sig link exposure? lol

There are so many methods, ideas, sites, etc. to use maybe people want to start their own thread to deal with specific questions they have that haven't been answered or asked in the others, without taking over the other thread?

I know I've been a programmer for 20+ years and have been doing website development for corporate for years, but this SEO stuff for my own website is kicking my butt with information overload and links/accounts, etc that you have to keep track of.

I always thought it was title, meta description, and content. The back links and related stuff adds a whole new dimension.

It's easy, work harder and smarter. Know the things your competitor don't know, open new markets. Find and learn more secrets about seo. And most importantly, be consistent.

Do the competitor analysis. Check the backlinks of competitor sites and try to get backlinks from those sites.

A good single backlink is better than 100 that will give you no visitors. Talk with an owner of another website and try to get a link exchange where you put their link up and they put yours. Get a website that is similar to yours so more visitors will click on the link.

post a fak comments to your competitors site that its a fat site or any thing

Just analize your competitors backlinks and add your websites url in those websites as well, this will fetch you good results.
