Hello everyone, I am doing seo for my website from past few months, has improved my results in google, but it has been difficult for me to beat my competitors of top 5 websites. Can anyone help me with some tips.

Adammortgage, just doing keyword research don't make the things work in SEO

For a excelent result with SEO you have to do a good keyword research, but you have to do a lot of other things

Emaginationz do you have a good content ? Be sure of this, work hard on your content before do other tatics

After that try to promote that content in Blogsphere (that's related in your niche) and see the result. I bet that this will help you.

(just for explain, with this you will gain good links, that will boost your rankings)

I think, Keyword research is the best way for getting good rank in Google. Personally, I use Google adwards keyword research tool for keyword analysis.

And all the off-page processes will work definitely, so go through it.

Keywords are only a small aspect of good seo you need to make sure you cover all bases like H1 tags (one per page), keyword density, back linking, internal page linking, no broken links and I'm sure there are other things that I have not included.

2. Find the factors contributing to their success
3. Act accordingly.

The method on how to do it is simply with Keyword research.

You aren't going to beat competitor by using Yahoo! which has less than 15% of internet market share.
