Some business owners don't care about the Page Rank their main concern is generating leads via traffic. This is the right strategy? What you suggest them?

Traffic is much more important, since getting good traffic is the most hard part for every new webmaster. but once it gets a good deal of traffic and if they like the site they will visit more. This in turn helps them to increase their ROI. PR is just a rating for how well your site is linked with other sites.

Yes,traffic is more important for site than page rank.But keywords ranking is also important for increase traffic.

They are the ones with sense, traffic could bring sales all PR will get you is a green bit on your Google toolbar.

well.. the thing is that for page rank website need quality backlinks, quality backlinks with the correct anchor text can cause good website ranking for those keywords, the high ranked keywords can bring more traffic, and those quality backlinks that cause the ranking will also be the reason of page rank, so i think all SEO activities should go hand in hand...

Traffic is much more important. But you cant compare which is more important since they are playing different roles. It is same as you are comparing direct worker and indirect worker which is more important. However, the fact is to achieve the goal, they are both important, they are playing different roles to achieve the target

All the things in seo we doing for get traffic.page rank is like points that we score in this game.that does't mean PR is the only way to get traffic .If you can get return traffic more than new visits thats is da goal

Well, the end goal of most websites is to earn money through sales or ad clicks. The theory is that PageRank-->Traffic-->Sales. But if you can get traffic without PageRank, why bother? Likewise, if you could get tons of sales without traffic, you wouldn't need to worry about traffic.

You improve your pagerank to get traffic. Thus traffic is more important, but you find your position in search engine by getting better pagerank, and you get qulity traffic from search engine.

for me it's traffic. You cannot have high PR without generating good traffic into your site.
