Hi, I'm interested in how the google engine indexes pages, or more precisely a page (one URL) that sends via PHP headers of various languages.

Can I for each different header prepare a different meta description?

Hey Amadeo,

Basically search engine indexes pages using program bots or Search engine bots. these are crawlers that crawls each and every hyperlink on a webpage and indexing and updating its database.

If you want to see how a bot views or throught the bot eyes, google for search engine bot simulator, it will show how a page looks for a bot.

According to my knowledge Basically search engine indexes pages using program bots or Search engine bots. these are crawlers that crawls each and every hyperlink on a webpage and indexing and updating its database.

Ok, thanks, I have made a research and I know how it is (more or less). I've made it in a way that it prepares a different meta tags and descriptions for each language header, and if the browser (or rather bot) doesn't include language in its HTTP request, my page sends my "favorite" meta description. Though, the question concerning localization is still a mystery for me. How to make a multilingual page on one HTTP address? Is it necessary to make it thoroughly profoundly static?

Right! So your actual question is somewhat different then.

And not really much to do with SEO.

Basically delivering different languages is done by determining where the viewer/useragent is from and delivering the content in the appropriate language.

The main part is a title, text, alt and description data, all the ither parameters are not important(noone can tell you the exact importance of those factors, I think that their relative importance is 0.0001%)
