If it would be helpful to make it easier to navigate then it's ok. But I think that would be way to much. If i would only look redundant, then just forget the idea.

Well, you can list some inbound link on your home page say 10 to 15, it would be good from SEO point of view..

You can also use xml site map so that your sites pages would indexed faster..
