What is the best and simple way to get more traffic in your website? I got many ways to get website in search engine ranking. but yet I am not getting more traffic on my website.

maybe you're targeting the wrong keywords?

It's all well and good being number 1 on Google for a search term, but if no one is searching for that term, it's pretty pointless.

Use the Google Keyword Tool to find out what people are actually searching for.

Following ways are helpful in driving traffic to your website,

* Social Media campaign
* Blogging ( content marketing )

And make sure that you have targeted the right keyword ( keyword that related to the core with high search volume ) to rank high in search engines.

Creating content that is helpful and useful. Simply cobbling together information from another website will not generate traffic. You need to offer visitors the information they need to achieve a goal, solve a problem, be entertained, find out quality news or have a good laugh.
Keep it fresh. For repeat visits, it is crucial to provide regular updates to the website, especially in frequently viewed zones. Add fresh content every few days if possible; at a minimum, weekly.

I would say the best way is adding content to your OWN site. Then bookmarking and other social media. I also like forums because you can build links, get traffic, learn, help other people learn, and stay up to date with your niche all at the same time (as long as you are actually reading the posts and adding value when you respond).
