when is the right time to give backlinks to domain newly created?, and how many backlinks for the first?

after doing on page optimization, you can start off page optimization on your site.

you have to keep building backlinks from the first day itself.keep the number small during 4-5 weeks and then gradually start increasing...if you are doing quality stuff ,,you dont need much backlinks...also cant say much without looking at actual competition.u can go over to google or blekko.com and look for top 10 sites seo strategy...and plan your backlinking strategy accordingly..

There is no right time for start building backlinks. Quality backlinks are a must for any site. You should have both nofollow and dofollow backlinks..Try slowly with building backlinks....which should be gradual and with time can be increased for site performance.

Actually there is no proper timing for back linking.You can start link buildinging work after completing on page work for your website.If you ll create quality backlinks then there is no need to count them.In SEO,quality matters than quantity.

Dont start off too aggressive, google is more likely to relate you to spam. This is not the only factor, but if you have an aggressive keyword % on your page, then you could easily lose any value from any backlinks.

The idea is to try and keep it as organic as possible. Get quality links over quantity. And make sure the site owner of the person linking is putting the same meta data in the link, as what you are using on your site.

I agree with this. Your website will be send to the sandbox. You can start little by little.
