Lol...hi Chris. I knew you were going to say that. I know you don't think that inbound and outbound links can affect rankings, but I do. So humor me...I thought you'd know the answer to a question like this.
As for the "do follow" reference, true, it's not in Murriam-Webster yet. But the term "do follow" is commonly used and people know what it means. It's all over Google--do follow blogs, do-follow forums (which this site is listed on), the no-do follow firefox plugin....
What would be a better way to refer to this kind of link? "Not no follow"...."A link without the no-follow attribute"? You can call it just a "link," but that doesn't get the point across.
Isn't a permalink just a link? But it has it's own name because it's referred to in a certain context.
I like embedding other people's You Tube vids on my sites, and I think it's a fair trade off to let them promote their site in the vid. But I don't want too many outbound links.
