No follow?

I am curious of these no follow and do follow blogs/site. If it happens that your site is a no follow does it mean that it will not be able to reach the number one page in the searches and vice versa?

the rel="nofollow" attribute affects the ability of the link that it is applied to in passing REAL PR and anchor text on to the target page
It does not affect the page that the link is place on.

It does not have any effect on your website if you are allowing no follow links for external links. But it matters in your link building work.If you want to get rank high and High PR then you need to built do follow backlinks.

rel=nofollow
it simply tells crawlers NOT TO FOLLOW LINKS ON THIS PAGE
or don't follow this specific link
PHP Code:
<a href="imawesome.php" rel="nofollow">I'm awesome</a>

With no follow, Google algorithm drops the target link and does not transfer PageRank across these links
Those anchored links may still get indexed if there are other sites without no follow linked to them.
What are Google's policies and some specific examples of nofollow usage?

Obviously it doesn't work for him. It is like somebody who has never seen a ghost, and who then insists that ghosts do not exist.

no follow means that whether your link directs to another webpage, Google's spider will just ignore it and won't count that link as additional points for link building.. do follow, on the other hand, is the opposite of no follow..

the nofollow value of a rel attribute of links actually means that the page owner does NOT TRUST those links.
Generally, SEs will honour this flag and NOT pass value through the link however it does NOT mean that they will not "follow" the link for indexing the target page.

to make your search results look as natural as possible you should have both dofollow and nofollow links.
You can get to the number one spot as long as you have more than your competitor

Yes No follow can able to stand at first position there is no doubt in it coz No follow and Do follow link are only matter in building backlink.
If you build backlink from those site who give 'No follow' link then Google will not take this link into consideration means it just used for increasing traffic not for increasing PR or SERP.
But if you build link from that site who gives 'Do Follow' link then google count this link and passes juice to this link

No follow links are not use less. When one site is not using the No follow link, the search engine is crawling our site through that site. So, the PR of that site will also pass to our site. But when the site is making the link no follow, it restrict the search engine not to crawl our site through that site. So, the PR of the site cant pass to our site. But we can get the indirect visitors. So, the key word will improve and help to get better indexing.

Clearly you didn't read anything.
Nofollow only instructs Google not to pass link juice, but Google will still follow through the link for indexing purposes.

There is just difference in robots.txt file. No follow means search engine will not index it and do follow means search engine is allowed to index it .
Cheers!!

Wrong. Apparently you need to learn to read before making kneejerk responses.
Nofollow just tells Google not to pass link juice, but Google WILL still follow through the link for indexing purposes if it feels it should.
By default, search engines are instructed to index everything they can unless otherwise instructed via meta, robots.txt or htaccess.
