Please let me know the techniques used for doing reverse SEO.Apart from blogging what is the most effective one.

In reality you can't.

The pages you want to leap over have obviously been better promoted than your pages have, so dislodging them will be almost impossible.

If the claims are untrue, refute them, ask for them to be removed or sue for defamation.

Once I was doing it for site. at that time, I created Posted similar (title) content on high quality Blogs, Forums and review sites and did some link building for this so that atleast 1st pages of Google occupied with our result and negative content moved to 2,3rd pages.. It took me around 2-3 month as sites were of very high quality & authoritative.. but atleast I got the success.

According to me Press releases and social media sites are only helpful for this purpose.

Exactly. The webpages above yours have been better promoted. Your task is to turn that into, "were previously better promoted."

I understand Press release & social media sites can be used in combination with other effective off page techniques to promote the current reviews more effectively to outsmart the negative ones.
