You should choose keywords which are searched maximum by the users and who have less competition. Choosing good keywords is a very very important for any website to promote the business.

You should choose keywords which are searched maximum by the users and who have less competition.

I'm w/ ya on that. I mostly do long tailed KWs where there is less competition. I put a lot of my articles (from my sites) w/in these long tailed "niches" which usually end up ranking.
