I have a slide show on my homepage. Does this help or hurt with SEO. The images don't have keywords in them. I don't know how to add them.

I don't think that google can read that slide show.. So that is no help for seo.

You can add "title" and "alt" tags to any of your picture. That will help

title and alt ATTRIBUTES!! they are NOT "tags" AND search engines do NOT read the text content of title attributes
