IIn order to promote my website, I'm looking for long tail keywords with low competition.

My website: easytraffic.biz
The main keywords are "website traffic"

I've love to hear your suggestions before I start working on it...

I think another best keyword is "traffic for website". On this keyword Global Monthly Search is 368,000.

So you are promoting a website that is presumably going to be telling or showing others how to get traffic, but you have no idea how to get traffic to it in the first place!!

Would that class as ironic?

My site is not going to show others how to get traffic.

My website is a system that works with an advertising network of thousands of websites.

We have a lot of traffic (and we advertise our services through our system also)
But still we want to increase sales by organic visitors.

cool website, i would suggest that u just toy around for some time with the google keyword sugggestion tool, and dont forget to use exact match option.

I think website traffic is very competitive keyword so it ll take so much time and need very hard work on link building.So try to use another keywords like traffic for website as suggested or like these keywords.

BTW YOU do not find "long tail keywords", they find you.

Do an extensive search on Adwords, but otherwise, just use your creative juices

Just in the first few months of a site/page being "live" the pages can be found for some "unusual" phrases.

So do you have six years of logs you can draw keyword information from and chart the trends?

The question is what the most appropriate keywords to choose ..

Keywords with over 2000 searches monthly or less?
Long tail and low competitive keywords or high competitive keywords like "increase website traffic"?

Chrishirst- To check what keywords was really helpful for the visitors.
Jimbob - Yes I did. but still not sure what keywords to choose.

It will tell you very little that is actually useful.
You need to be looking at words and phrases where those visitors took your conversion path, not time wasters who may or may not have "read" a couple of pages.
