Which is the Best and effective way to get Better and Stable Traffic for websites with High Competition.

I did Directory submissions , web 2.0's, article posts, Press releases, edu pages, blog comments ,forum posts, Bookmarks, video submissions ,RSS Feeds, pinging and also created Profile Links.But the site i targeting is not coming to the first page of google and now its in 2nd page from no where from google.

I bought it to 2nd page in 70 days from no where in google and anyone please advice how long it will take to bring that website with the keyword competition of 83000 monthly searches and share some additional techniques you know.

Hope i will get some plans from some good experts around here.

Using Google's Adwords tool, how many searches for the exact phrase? How much competition? How many of the competitors are the big guns, major companies with advertising budgets etc? Are your pages optimised for the exact phrase?

yeah i am using the exact keyword phrase, the keyword i am targeting is with 83,248 monthly searches.I have 27 stable competitors with big guns.Fought well to bring those pages in google 2nd page..,Now only problem is with pushing the site to first page.

Analysis yours first page competitors as what they are using for the traffic and link building techniques. you could also follow the same way with more effectively in order to beat them.

Just to give you an idea. First of all - I'm assuming you are talking about broad search. I have one site that is ranked #1 for 12,300 monthly searches (that is broad). It took me a year to rank #1. So unless your competition is weak - it will take a long time to get ranked on the first page. And believe me - there is a HUGE difference of the traffic you get between the #1 and #2 position on the first page.

For traffic issues, technical issues will have a less impact when it comes to this matter since you are targeting users and not search engines...

Did you make something interesting about your site? Something that will not only attract visitors but will make them stay and dig deeper into your site?

Stability comes when you are constantly improving - in terms of fresh and good quality content, link building, social media presence and on site optimization. I think you would benefit from pointing out your specifficity, by branding your product in order to highlight its uniqueness in a way it will be recognized.

for a period of time (at least 3 months) for get off page optimization and concentrate on on page and content... Work hardly to update fresh content daily and research the best key words. Then slowly start on off page with content updation... start link building by forums, blogs, article and commending etc...Bulk link building and another off page will some good position for a period of time then after will loose the position if the site is poor on content and on page... says by my own exp.......
