Hello everybody?

I created a website and I totally like it

The content is always updated and the goal of the website is good (according to me and some others), but It don't seem to get traffic. I submitted it to many directories, it's active on social networks, I submitted it to many feeds directories, I have many relevant links on my website, submitted in search engines, and I'm still working on it.

1 I would like to know how much time it will take to my website to get traffic and activity? I know it will happen someday, but when?

Give me some answers according to your experience please. I don't want to be discouraged after some weeks only.

Content is the King.
Unless your content is unique and useful for users, you won't be able to get traffic.

seems to be your site is newly registered one, if that so, you might be under Google sandbox.wait just keep on doing your links building techniques without using black hat SEO.you would be benefited.

Is the content something people search for on Google or other search engines?
Have you written your title element and meta description to describe the content of the page?
Do you have competitors for the same content you're writing about?

There isn't a certain "time period" to wait until you start getting visitors.
Sometimes you do, other times, you don't.
It all depends on the ad that the visitor views and what they're interested in looking at,

Get into relevant forums and start giving advice. Put your site in the sig box - if you really know what your talking about - people will click on your link. However, it won't be that much referral traffic.

Make Youtube vids, get a network of relevant people on FB, Twitter and LinkedIn and become an expert in your field. Write articles and place them on EZA or Hubpages. It will take a long time - but you need to promote your site across these websites.

If your website appears on search engine it will automatically increase your website traffic.

content is king to get traffic but you have also need of branding through social media. you can also get traffic through blog

Are you focused on certain keywords? And is your content focused on those keywords? Do your titles and meta tags have those keywords? And do your backlinks have those keywords in the anchor text?

I also think you need to change your logo and color scheme. Something more lively live pink and green would probably be more appealing.

Well, if this discussion about netdirg - sorry, but I don't see ANY useful content there. Fill it with unique and interesting articles, optimize them for the chosen keywords.
You should also optimize every page of your site - they all should have proper TITLE, DESCRIPTION, KEYWORDS meta tags. How else are you expecting to become visible for search engines?

Generally, traffic follows a exponential function. It's like rabbits, as the population increases the rate of birth also does. Don't start worrying now.

Visitors will attract more visitors, just give yourself a little more time and don't stop working on your project which seems so far, so good.

By the way, I suggest you to know your public.

You said you want quality traffic, well, this means you want to meet your target.

In order to meet your target - and I mean really quickly - you have to stop following the flock.

1) Unique, original and interesting content is a must! (updated not so much, leave it to social networks, news and micro-blogging sites though restrictions do apply)
2) Write to your public, if you sell shoes you're not interested in people who wear gloves but keep an eye on those who wear socks, go out running and like to dance.
3) Get to know your content. When you understand something, you can explain it in such a way that everyone would understand. (So keep it simple!)

Minus the title tag, how will the description and keyword meta tags help at all? Curious as to how that works.

If you want to quality traffic on your website add one section in your website like Blog and Article and submit unique blog as well as unique article content definitely you get better result with your website.

Quality content is always the most important to a site, what you need is to add quality content and attract quality traffic. Unique content is what you need really.

We must all remember that if we want to make a good quality content, we must make it more interesting specially if we want to have a good number of traffic to our site.

In targetting a good number of traffic, we must all remember that we are all dealing with users and not with search engines.

Quality content is always a good point in seo point of view. If anyone wants to place their sites in the search engine he has to depend on quality rather than quantity.
