Hi we have recently launched a new website sleep-space [dot] co [dot] uk- the site has been up for a while and is indexed with Google. However - when a search is performed for the term Sleep Space / sleep-space - we do not come up until page 7 on the SERPS. Does anyone have any ideas on how to improve this please? Ideally we would like to be visble higher up for the Company Name.

Just focus on your keywords and create a more links

If the site is new you probably do need to give it a little more time. However while waiting you can try gaining links to the home page of the site, ideally with anchor text saying "Sleep Space" or similar.

I noticed the title of your home page starts Home >> Sleep Space…

Get rid of the Home >> out in front.

On the site itself instead of links pointing back to the home page saying Home, have them say Sleep Space. For example breadcrumbs can read

You are here: Sleep Space > Title of page

Your domain is keyword rich,we can nit say it company name.For search engines it is a keyword.So if you want to get in top place then you need to build some quality backlinks.Also you will have to otpimize your website for this keyword and relevant keywords.

This is actually an interesting product. I might blog about it, bookmark it, or share it on facebook just because it is cool. I can't say that about most of the sites I visit. I think you have a great idea there and people will link to it.

But you have to get the word out on something like this. Post it to some more forums, make a YouTube video or two, share it. People will link to it on their own once they see how cool it is. Or you can just do a bunch of link submissions. Either way. Pretty Cool man.

Agree. SEO works are not instant. It can't give you results immediately.

Once you launch a website make sure that it was already dne with an on-page optimization. And you must do link building immediately.
