There are many factors that are used when implementing seo.

Why do I keep seeing services like this in my research??

Please see thehoth dot com for the most recent example I've stumbled upon.

I see it the whole time...companies offering link building schemes, press releases and article submissions.

How do they actually give their customers 1000+ article submissions, 800 profile links, 100+ social bookmarks? How can they guarantee it and how do they do it?

I doubt that they spend their whole today posting the same article over and over again.

they automate it using tools such as bots that leads to black hat and google ban

But what it matters that with buying this links you go high in SERP. The question is whether Google will catch the bad sheeps. I believe they work in order to become better in catching such techniques. What is easiest- imagine that Google inspector(if such exist) present himself as a costumer and buy links and discover the black hat tactic that they are using.

You are right to some extent. But the internet world would remain intact with its all odds and evens.

And the idea of bulk submission like article submissions on hundreds of directories are not much valuable at all.

They indeed use automated tools and I agree that these links may not hold great value but some links are still better than no links at all.

The key to doing good SEO is to build your links as naturally as possible.
For example do link building on a longer span of time instead of buying 1,000 or 10,000 links and then sit back and wait for results.

It's called SPAM. I'm sure you're familiar with it.
