Hi guy,

I am little bit confuse. I am working on my site as SEO, know i wanted to use my own Content Management System for link building and can rank high on most of the search engines, In this way i can easily upload any link and can add any page.

Know is this a right approach or should i manullay add links and don't use content Management system.

If i use content managemen system to upload new quality links, will this work and increase my ranking.

Because some body told me. that won't work well and can decrease you PR.
Is this true.

Thanks
Kaleem

depends on the content management system, how the pages are built, and what you include in the pages. there are several cms that have plugins to create search friendly urls and to add keywords and such.

Anyone used Mambo?

I'm looking into it myself and would love a little feedback. Thinking of using it for large (800+) page site but not sure if it's what I need. Main functionality needed would be quick editing/adding to/splitting pages and moving pictures around on the pages as I need.

Thanks!

For most of the CMS and forums cand be found hack to implement the mod rewrite to made search engine friendly URL.
Anyway if don't have this hacks you can do this very easy by yourself implemeting the rules for modrewrite in your .htaccess
