I currently use Webceo to predict keyword daily searches/competition and KEI.

Are there any similar web based tools I can use?

I think you should visit these tools. It might be helpful to you.
http://wordtracker.com/
http://janisse.nl/keyword%20effectiveness%20index.htm
However, webceo is a nice tool according to reviews.

Thanks, but the problem is, wordtracker doesn't actually tell you the number of searches per day, but an estimate of how many sites appear with those keywords.

Also, janisse.nl provides an article about it, but there's no online tool.

Here are a couple that I like.

http://searchmarketing.yahoo.com/rc/srch/
I like the Keyword Selector Tool. It gives you the number of searches done in a month, not by days though..

Here is another one to check competition.. http://directory.sootle.com/google-competition.html

Gives some good info..

Hope this helps!

Hmm, thanks for the help, but none of the above seem to provide a fast, simple service just to find an approximation of searches and competition.

Problem is, my uni have blocked everything up, so I can't get any software to work!

Thanks for all the replies, guys. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be an online tool as good as WebCeo for keyword analysis.

However, I have sorted out my proxy issues so now I can use the software
