I have gone thru site , its good and it deserves a better promotion.

u can the advice of axill.com for promoting these type of webdesigning sites as i did for software selling site.

IMO, you should avoid using frames. gringo has provided nice stuff. You must look into that. You should always consider some important points as well for promotion of your site.

1) You should submit your site to major search engines and as many directories as you can.

2) You should get the right keywords and meta tags.

3) You should make sure that your site has good content with optimization.

4) You should also give free and well written articles to the free websites such as ezinearticles.com

5) You should always use the best tool that is word-of-mouth to advertise your site. It is vey much helpful tool to get traffic. You should encourage people to pass on information. For local marketing, you should publish visiting cards and put site URL on it.

6) Affiliate programs are nice way to get other people as affiliates to promote your site.

7) You should also exchange links with the popular and relevant sites.

I would agree with everything etech-martin mentions above except that you don't really need to submit your site to search engines. As long as you have some links pointing back to your site the search engines will find you. Adding a signature here with a link to your site will be enough to get your site indexed by the search engines.

Directories are good to submit to, but submitting to search engines isn't necessary.

If you want to learn more about seo, one of the best ways will be to read through the seo forum on this site as well as other seo forums on other sites. People have very different opinions about what is good seo, but the basics aren't too hard to pick up.
