Hi Guys

Am new to this business and i wonder if its okay to insert affiliate links and google adsense right from the beginning? Will SE avoid spidering the site?

Have heard different views that suggest tht i shud insert ads only after google and the rest of the SE hv spidered the site.

Any comments?

Like some SEO tactics I think this is one of those "wear your lucky underwear" situation.

When I started my site I added ad sense to it within the first month and didn't notice any penalties. I don't know why they would ban you for something like that.

I only have one affiliate link on my site so I can't really say there.

All I can say for sure is design your site for your visitors and not the search engines. Make sure that it has useful content that other will want to read and visit and the search engines will find it.

No "lucky underwear" needed. It's rubbish.
Your site, put on it what you want.

You don't get penalised for affiliate links and your adsense may only show PSAs until the pages get crawled. Apart from that nothing will happen.
