Hi,

my site inner pages are redirecting (home page ) as http://mysite.com instead of http://www.mysite.com .Do i face any problems if it will happen like this

please help me in finding difference between http://mysite.com , http://www.mysite.com .which one should be used to get better pagerank.

Niether is better than the other, but you do want to use only one otherwise search engines will see your site as two separate domains and you'll be spreading out your link building between two sites.

Use a 301 redirect to point one to the other. I like to point the non www domain to the www domain, but the reverse is also fine.

I agree with vangogh. Either will do. Just make sure you pick one and use only that one.

With that said, my personal preference is with the www. I don't have any great reason for that. I just think that the world has gotten used to that as a standard

...and when it comes to user experience, I always try to match expectations. This is also why I put my site header & navigation in the top portion of the page instead of content at the top and header and navigation underneath ;-)

I think that's why I like the www too. More people just assume it's going to be in the url for the site and have become used to it so I figured I might as well go with it.
