My website is indexed in MSN and Yahoo, and when I look at my web stats I see that MSN updates almost everyday. Googlebot goes there everyday and Yahoo goes about once a week.

Last week I changed some content on a couple of pages (including the title tags) and when I do a search in Yahoo (link:www.moneytime.ca) I see the pages but the titles are still the old ones.

Is there a way to force an update with the search engines?

Also, I see that googlebot crawls my page everyday but the only search term I pop up in is if I type in my URL.

Are there any suggestions?

You can't force a search engine to spider your site.

If you want your pages to be found by searchers, you need to perform some 'optimisation' on them. Here's a brief beginner's guide http://www.seomoz.org/beginners.php
that will get your pulse racing.

Thank you. I actually have started employing *some* SEO techniques (it takes a lot more work than i thought it would).

That's one of the reasons why I was asking if I could somehow update the search engines. I noticed that they have spidered my site but the info they have on the search engine is still the old stuff not my new *optimized* content.

Unfortunately you just have to wait for them to come back. In time though as you get more backlinks and become a more established site they'll probably come back more often.

Googlebot visits my site everyday though it can still take a few more days or weeks before what I see when I search for my site changes.

looking at this thread http://www.webmaster-talk.com/seo-ta...-question.html as well

you probably will have to wait several months.
