I really don't use seo tools and I think that's the case in general for most professional seo's. SEO tools really only tell you so much and often the information and suggestions are out of date. For eaxmaple most seo tools will point out what you're doing with your meta keypword tags when most search engines will ignore the tag. They can be useful for someone who's new to seo, but following all the advice from a tool usually won't help as much as you might think.
I do use a variation of the lynx browser to see how a search engine spider might view my site. The one I use is a Firefox extension called Yellowpipe Lynx Viewer. I use it more as a curiosity than for any seo benefit.
You really don't need to spend a lot of time anaylizing keywords on your web pages. You obviously need keywords on your pages, but there's no need to overanalyze the exact density or the exact placement. Make sure you use them in your page titles. Use them in a heading or two and also mention them throughout your text where it makes sense to include them. Generally if you write a focued page about a given topic you will have used your keywords in the right amount.
You also can and should use keywords in the anchor text for your insite links.
There is no tool that will generate rankings in search engines. That will just take work. Optimize your pages by using keywords like I mentioned above, make sure to code your site in a way that lets search engine spiders find their way around so they can index your site, and work on getting backlinks to your site.
