I think I was pulled out of Google. How can I tell?

I typed "site:www.moneytime.ca" about a month and a half ago and I got 8 results. 7 of which were old/dead links. I posted a message about that and got the answer to fix redirects.

About a week later I typed in the site: command again and it gave me 2 pages of results. The first page (and a bit) were live pages that went to alot of my pages.

Now I just typed it again and got the original 8 links which 7 are dead.

I still have a PR (in the google bar) of 2/10.

Did google pull me out of the index?? What happened. I thought I was on the upward swing!

Please help!

If I remember this is a newish hostname, if so it's just the normal pattern for a new hostname.

yes... It is a new (about 6mos.) hostname.

I was worried because I thought I was making progress to see that my site was indexed by google and now that it isn't there, I was concerned.

So you don't think I was blacklisted or anything like that?

I'm seeing 9 pages (mostly pdf's and doc pages) for you now when I use the site: command. It was probably just Google removing the old pages and then taking a little time to index the new ones.

As long as you see one page in the index Google hasn't pulled your site. It can just take some time for them to index all of your pages. The time depends on how often they come to your site and spider it.

The problem is the pages that are left are the dead links. The pages that are gone are the pages that google just recently added.

Do you know how often Google spiders your site?

It seems as though googlebot comes everyday. The last time was April 24 @ 21:33.

Googlebot has *hit* my sit 109 times this month and 35 successful hits on robots.txt file.

Since Google is still coming to your site you know they haven't dropped you. 109 times isn't really a lot, but it is some. I'd guess Google is still in the process of sorting out all the changes and I know it can take some time. It's hard to wait I know, but keep working at your site as you always would and give Google a little more time to get your pages right.

I think from the other post you set up all the 301 redirects so you should be good there and have done what you can. Now it's just the time to be patient while Google does what they do.
