I noticed that when I check incoming/back links of a Blog using different 'link popularity' tools, it always results in 0 number of sites linking to that particular Blog I am checking?

For example -

www.casino--i.blogspot.com
This site is ranked 1st page MSN Search for highly competitive keyword "casino", but 0 back links!?

Anyone has an explanation for this or how I can check back links for a Blog?

Back links will be in index when sites that links to your blog will be index.
Add some links and wait for google/yahoo

Hey,

Heres an example.

Suppose your blog is hosted with blogger and the name happens to be

http://the-four-required-words.blogspot.com

if you were to go check your backlinks the url you would check is:

the-four-required-words.blogspot.com

NOT with the www. in front.

Doing it this way with a link popularity tool you get your link popularity results without the www. in front but not with the www. in front.

Try it and see what happens, if not you will have to wait for it to update, but this is what has worked for me.

and i found 4,467 results.
in yahoo check for
linkdomain:www.casino--i.blogspot.com
in google
link:www.casino--i.blogspot.com

^^^ you can do it that way but i think he was refering to link popularity tools.
