The full question would be, is the PR of a page help at the search results in Google? I think it does, but only a little, what`s the percentage of PR that influences the search results position?
of the real PR (the one only Google knows the value of); Just one small (and getting smaller) part of more than 100 factors

Completely not! PR doesn't earn you anything but a look, an empty look. Content is the most important. You might even lose PR if search engines found out you were using black hat methods to gain PR.

Not necessarily. The toolbar PR does not directly effect your Search Engine results however the higher your PR chances are your positions will be higher because the PageRank measures your backlinks and backlinks are the key to top positions. However remember that there are some PageRank 2 sites out positioning sites with PageRanks of 5 or even 7 so no it does not effect it.

I think PageRank is one of the many factors that determines a page's ranking in the search results but it isn't the only factor that Google uses to rank pages.

The Google PageRank is supposed to show the importance of a page. This is done by calculating the worth of the links pointing to a site. This is PageRank.

conent and page rank are two very differenet things.
first build a good content.
optimise your site for appropriate keywords.
then, start building links.
Pr is nothing more than a nice number. Content is king. I have yet to see PR have any significant effect in the SERPs

But somebody still has to know about the content Although as you said cotnent is king and to somewhat of a degree directly or indirectly does effect your rankings link campaigns must be inacted or there is no way for anyone to originaly find this great content. Right?
But you are right once you do get visitors they will be sure to link to great content.

For me, a high PR gives a site a high priority being indexed more frequently, and if your site has good content, your PR is being put to good use and your site is most likely to be on the first SERPs, based on my experience.
