Since yahoo is one of the most Popular Search Engine. So it can bring a high traffic to your site. To get listed in yahoo search you have to add your URL to Yahoo search. Yahoo has both paid and free submission option you may choose any one according to your requirements. You may even add you XML feed and all URLs using a text file. Generally they take 6 week to get listed but it varies depending on your site. Initially yahoo will crawl only few pages of your site then you will find that more pages are getting listed in yahoo. If you site is in yahoo directory then you need not to do all this things. To add URL You must have a Yahoo ID.

Yahoo can certainly bring traffic to your site. It's not true though that you need to submit your url to Yahoo search to get listed. Yahoo will find you like all major search engines if you have links on other sites pointing to yours.

I've never submitted my site to Yahoo, but they have indexed many of my pages and crawl my site daily.

Yahoo is a good search engine.... maybe next to google.
Yahoo will find you if your site has links.

Yahoo crawls googles pages so if you submit to google you will show up in yahoo a few days later.

Umm? Where did you come up with that. Google and Yahoo both crawl the web in general. They may crawl each other's sites, but submitting your site to Google doesn't mean you'll then be in Yahoo in a few days.

You do not need to submit your site to any search engine. Just get some backlinks to the site and they will find you. The more links the better.

I agree all of my sites are listed in yahoo thru links pointing to my sites. Also a robot txt file is very important.
