Ok here is my question. I started an ecommerce website in Australia that sells telecommunication products which just target only Australian customers a few years ago. I registered say AAA.com.au (australian) and also AAA.com (global). Currently both domains are pointed at the same website that targets Australian customers. I now want to sell similar products into the US. The problem is the Australian products dont work in the US so I need to start a new website. From an SEO perspective is it better that I buy a new domain for example: BBB.com for the US website or use the AAA.com but have a link on AAA.com that goes to Australian site (eg: looking for Australian website: Please click here) . The majority of my Australian customers go to my site via AAA.com.au but there are a few that also go via AAA.com
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kindest regards,
Ken
