Hi there, im wondering whats the best way to get backlinks for your website? Does any one know any decent backlink bots were i just type my URL and paste some code onto my links page and i get some backlinks?
Also, if ny one is intrested in a links exchange id be happy to put one on my site as im really in need of about 5,000 backlinks And my target is to get them within the next week.

This is quite an old post and I wonder what ended up happening as that amount of links in one week is a huge red flag
Social Bookmarking is a good way to get good back links..
I Think Social Bookmarking is a not good way to get good back links .
I prefer Forum signature and blog coment to get backlinks.or if you have budget, you can buy link.
The best way to gather back links is to do natural kinda link exchange with good quality sites of same theme as that of ours on good pr ranked pages. It will be pretty helpful in driving traffic as well.
That's crazy talk! People don't just link to stuff because they like it!
If they really like it they will, if its relevent to their sites they will, and the link will most likely be in a good position, contained within relevent content to your site. Link baiting is probably the number one technique for getting high quality links.

I agree with willcode4beer. Often people focus their efforts on promotion when they actually have nothing worth promoting. The thinking seems to be that it's the promotion that will lead to success and not the site being promoted.
For me i find it easy to get links by link baiting since i have tried it before and it was soo effective.. and more honestly i do better on making manual stuff.. for backlinks.. since i can sort it out..
Create content that will be embraced by social communities and people will talk about. When you succeed in that, the rest of the work is done automatically by your readers..

You can get a lot of them by submitting articles to directories and your article must be interesting for the readers to make it through the end of the article and click your links.
