Hey guys,

I'm interested in some unique ways to get backlinks for my new fitness website(http://lardloser.com).

Im not sure how, i have posted an article on Ezinearticles.com. But im still not seeing and backlinks when I use the following backlink checkers:

www.deathhour.com
www.backlinkwatch.com
http://www.online-utility.org

Any ideas?

The easiest way to get links is through forums. You can also get them from blogs, or from buying them. If you do decide to buy them, look for fitness related sites that are selling advertising and make sure that it's not a nofollow link.

Buying links is the only sensible option suggested. Forum links y blog links aren't worth jack, though they are easy. As you'd expect.

Backlinks from articles don't come overnight but they are very powerful in the long run. Continue submitting articles not just to ezinearticles.com but for the top article directories.

They are relevant backlinks and they can also give additional traffic through people reading them because they can rank on their own on the search engines.

I am getting good results using IBL Builder. Its getting me 5 or so decent one way backlinks each week now and they manage it for me once I have agreed a link with someone.
