hello everybody,

when i create rss using the software available on the web and when the software has created the rss then what file name extention should i save the file to upload it. as we use .xml for sitemap then what for rss.


response will be appreaciated.

I believe you can use any file extention.
The webmaster-talk RSS feed uses PHP for the feed and a variable.

I agree. I use ASP to dynamically generate my RSS feeds. If your RSS is static, I believe .xml is the most common file extention.

i also was saving the file with .xml. is it ok to save it with the extentions .html or .htm?

and .xml will be always ok whether the page is static or dynamic?
