i want to find the ip of robots so i can block access , they are all spam bots and downloading tools taking gbs of data every day sucking my bandwidth. I have urchin on the server?
search your logs files or urchin stats for the UA of the bots you want to block and find the associated IP

i know the ua's i want to block but cant find the ip associated with them how can i do this. Not sure where to look or how. All ive got is the urchin GUI not looking at raw log files myself and wouldnt know where to look in them etc?
can anyone help , im still struggling to find the ips of the bots , i know the UA's but cant find the ip's in order to comepltly block them. They are still coming in even though ive changed the robot.txt to block them
