If no start it immediately and more over if you use high competative keywords you can pull traffic, but targetting top keywords is not easy unless if your domain age is more and you have more related website back link

You don't have to keep adding content, If you have some to add then add it and you certainly won't rank higher just because your are adding content.

List your web site to search engine and directories. There are many directories that offer free listings. Use a tool to submit your site to search engines and directories. A tool like KnowboForm Site Submitter may help you. This particular tools have around 4000 directory and search engine lists, most of them offers free listings.

You are right kbtsup. But I must warn you automated submissions aren't a very good idea. manual onles, althought more time consuming, are far more effective.

Post on social bookmarking sites. Stumbleupon is one of the best social bookmarking sites I have tried. It randomly shows sites so there is a possibility that your site might shown by others.

Agree. Automation is to reduce labor and effort in submitting, not meant to reduce quality of submission. If your automotive does not get you to your destination, instead you end up in a jungle, just get rid of it.

A good automated tool is one that serve the purpose. The extent at which it breaks that rule is undesireable.

I did lots of things to increase my blog's traffic, including the things you mentioned. In addition to that, the more effective way to get high traffic is:

- Link spamming
- Social Bookmarking sites

Many of the above give tips are just fine but just remember whatever you do on the site do it with a difference which makes your site stand apart from the others. Try to see what your competitors are doing on their site to get that amount of traffic and give in some more inputs from your side which will make the site more loaded. Doing this will definitely create interest in visitors and they would want to visit your site time and again.
