question ;-)

someone told me- don't know if this is right, that a search engine does not see hyphens- and that a name with hyphens might be bad as far as promoting it, but could be good for search engine placement.
now- what about hypens between letters? like:

for example: l-o-v-e.com

is that just a bad thing that can not be used for anything at all? or is there some good to that somewhere depending on what you use the site for?

It basically means next to nothing these days.

You're better off with a domain name sans hyphens. They're easier for users to remember, bookmark, and link to.

You can put hyphens in your page names if you like.

e.g. www.domainwithmultiplewordsinit.com/random-words-describing-the-page.html .

i know for users- but... i guess what i am asking is-
example- love.com is taken- all the other variations are taken- but, there is l-o-v-e-.com
(this is an example)
does that name, if bought, have any use to anyone- if say "love" pulled ginormous numbers in google and overture-
does having the hyphen version do anything for them in any way, whether it be used for users or seo?

would or would not someone jump on s-e-x.com- or say nah, its total junk?
