With a diversified campaign that invovles adwords, link building, code cleanup and the other ethical SEO/SEM practices, what kind of monthly budget are you aiming for? I have a few customers that range from $50 to $500, and am trying to get a handle on the average.

I just blog and nothing that professional to have a budet.

With that money, I think you can buy around 10 links from PR4-7 pages. I have no budget for my website, just working on it myself and submit to free directories.

For most small businesses you can do a lot with $150 to $300.00 a month for the first year. Link building, little bit of adwords, etc... Usually start ups take a hit the first year and gain the following.

After the first year I think 5 to 8% of your monthly gross is safe for an inet marketing budget.

So, no-budget sites just take more time to promote or they don't have the same chances as budget sites?
