Hello--

I have a website composed of about 10 pages. Each of the pages HTML files (less index of course) need to be changed (they're in the wrong langauge). Of course, the pages have been indexed in the search engines already.

What might be the best plan of action -- dealing with what I have to now. Not really sure what the best step would be.

For example, simply change the file names, re-upload and re-submit to the search engines and wait? Or, create new pages with the correct names...leave the old pages with a redirect to the new pages?? Then re-submit??

See, I'm a bit confused about the process. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Change the names, Use a 301 redirect and don't resubmit.

Why care??

Page names mean nothing for anything other than site management. Change them and it could be several months before your rankings (if any) recover.
