There is a site called CrazyEgg that allows you to track the "hot spots" on your website and see which links are the most popular. Basically the site will show you which links get the most clicks, and from this information, you can determine the more popular topics on your site, etc...

Does anyone have any experience with this site, and if so, can you tell me more about how it works?

Hi,

My name is Hiten, I am one of the people involved with Crazy Egg. Basically, Crazy Egg is a testing solution that allows your to do page-by-page testing of your website. You can signup for our free account to check it out. Basically, you enter the URL you want to test as well as the length of time or amount of visits (pageviews) you want to track and then you get a javascript code that you put on your webpage, and Crazy Egg starts tracking.

There are three views in our system, overlay, list and heatmap. The overlay provides you with detailed information about each element on the page that was clicked on. The list provides you with the data in list form. The heatmap allows you to easily see where the "hotspots" are on the page you are testing.
