How does digg effect the seo of a website? I mean aside from the links you MAY get from digg users. Is there any other thing that Digg can benefit a website SEO wise? I am asking this because digg banned one of my sites and I wanted to know how this would affect me in the long run.

Thank you

It will not harm your website. Digg can be a good way to get some extra traffic if you have a very interesting article but your site being banned from Digg won't harm your SEO efforts. Now you know the reason why you where banned. Take that experience and try to use it for the future.

I don't think it'll harm your site...though Digg can give you a lot of traffic once your article is on top of them...

Digg is just another website to Google. Digg stories are sometimes indexed through the queue pages.

SEO and Digg are completely two different things and they have nothing in common which will affect your search engine rankings.
Digg is not Google.

You get some backlinks to your article but its so easy to get banned its really not worth the bother. Sometimes though you get an article Dugg 50 billion times and get so much traffic your database explodes.
