For what? not needed...

It wont help SERPs, your only giving your visitors a chance to find a way out ..

Remember that oneway link (inbound) is better than (Outbound Links) in term Of SEO RULES and SE's.

And this answer is exactly why you really don't understand any of this.

How do you know that outbound links don't help ?? Anchor text is still content on the page.
Not everything is about SERPs. Do you honestly think that sites that are now weighted as authority or trusted sites gained their status by NOT linking out??

If you have a site that you consider is so poor that visitors will leave via the first outward link they find. You had better do something about it to keep visitors there rather than being concerned about them leaving.

If you don't have any outbound links in you entire site, SEs may think your site is a dead end site. It is better to have outbound links, atleast to w3c.org.
