Hello, dear webmasters!

3 or 4 monthes ago my site was good ranked at MSN and Yahoo. Then I've lost these positions, now my site has some good positions, but only due secondary pages. The main page of my site (index.shtml) has no more good positions. Could anybody explain me this situation? I can even tip the direct name of my site in the search field of MSN or Yahoo and get only secondary pages, not the index page. Is the main page banned by MSN and Yahoo? How can I detect it for sure? How can I avoid this ban?

Usually if you see results like this, there's some form of webmaster error on your site (my hunch is that you're not referring to http://www.domain-name.com/ as your default page.)

Could be a technical issue.

use this tool to check out the server headers

also check out the robots to see if it is properly configured.

I've checked headers and it shows 200. I guess, it's ok.

Again, what's your site? If you're doing what you say you are, it's not wrong.

It's really impossible for anyone to tell without seeing it. We'd just be guessing.

Yahoo and msn really love links, just continue to build more links. how bout on G? any plan to rank on the biggest SE's who gives a big possiblity of traffic?

Targeting G where start you on the real competition.

Long and the short of it is that it's likely because you're trying to manipulate search engines. Reciprocal links and keyword stuffing to cover up what is otherwise a low-quality site just don't cut it anymore.

See? You're still there. You just got your head filled with misinformation as it pertains to SEO and you've forgotten that there's no point in promoting any site if it's not ready for users.

There should be no, repeat no, let's say it a third time, NO reason you shouldn't want to advertise what you've done...unless it's either porn (which this isn't), gambling (which this isn't), something to do with the size of your unit (which this isn't), or something that has problems (which this site does.)

As simplistic as this sounds, you need to take your thinking and do a complete 180 with it.
