Work hard at getting links, Easy/quick links are worthless.

If the link is easy to achieve it's not a link you want.
It's better to have one link that was hard to get than 100 links that are easy to get.

Very difficult to say but, you just can get an instant link in forum signatures.

Or try to find directories that evaluates the link within 24 hours.

Well youtube found it easy to make a billion dollars. What's easy for one isn't easy for another.

I would guess if someone is looking for quick easy backlinks they don't have the type of site that will stay on wikipedia for any amount of time, and i would also guess that if someone has a site that manages to remain on wikipedia they don't really have to worry about getting backlinks.

I was simply illustrating my point with an example. That was one example of a quick/easy link having value, there are others.

I think you probably meant something like "Don't just focus on getting quick/easy links as most of them have little value." But I'm guessing now, and all I can go on is what you actually did say.
