Both my new sites, getting from PR0 to PR3 in less than 3 week after launching. And I have more than 20 keywords top rank top 10 position. Here is a quick guide of what I did to make this happen:

1)Search engine submission to google, yahoo, msn, etc.
2)Directory submission.
3)Public relation. I joined few forums, and put my site on the signature.
4)Place this site URL to my other site footer.
5)Join link exchange.

Couple hour a day on the new site, wahlaa… PR3. Indeed I have 2 other site that scores PR2 in the almost same period. It works for me.

I was previously begging to know how to get PR fast, can’t find a good tips. Here I experience it, and hope this might be useful for those that look for fast PR for new site.

It's impossible to get PR "fast". It's updated only 4 times a year (on average). So even if you got a billion links, You will only see (TB) pagerank when there is an update and the data is exported.

You just happened to create a site 3 weeks before TB PR updated and had enough backlinks to get PR3.

Um, the Google tool bar is st0x. I have done the same as mentioned on several sites. I even have gotten them to pr 4-5s!

Google update thier internal (real) pr constantly, But we aren't told about it, so it's safe to assume he is talking about toolbar pr, Which is impossible to get "fast".

You could get PR3 in a week, If you happen to launch your site a week before an update.

I'm sorry st0x but you can get a pr before the update. The only thing the update does is for the tool bar. if that weren't true then I wouldn't have gotten one site up to a pr 3 then another 2 weeks later. Google wouldn't update that soon if that was the case.

I made a new website on 23 december with content and all it needs.Today I receive my PR ( 3) but from what I know the update was a couple of weeks ago.

The update was a while back but sites sometimes are a little late to get there PR. Mr or Mrs Google can't do everything at once

That's what i said. Google update real PR constantly, But he isn't talking about real PR is he, He is talking about toolbar PR, Which is impossible to get "fast" because it's a value that is updated periodicaly.

Hey, I'm really confused. What's a sandbox ? Please tell me in a detailed version because I really need it. And, I think PR doesn't matter at all. I have PR4 and I've only 50+ uniques a day when my friend's blog has 100+ uniques a day for only PR2.

I think we just need to honest. I launched my site 4 months ago and I got PR4. I didn't submit to Google, Yahoo!, Msn etc. I didn't do link exchange (only 2 with my friends). Of course I did public relations and I did some directory submission. All I did was blog and blog. That's all.

The sandbox is a term used to describe a period of time when a new site doesn't rank well.
It usually lasts between 6 months to a year depending on the topic of the site.

I had a site completely without inbound links, and it showed PR 3 on toolbar. I believe you can gain PR over time, just by being online(the site, not you). That site never got updated, and I checked it for inbound links on both yahoo and msn, every time with zero results. To top it off, I had no internal linking, only an index.html.

I agree with St0x, the real PR is never known to webmasters, hence hard to argue about getting it fast. The toolbar PR is updated about 4 times a year. I have made a few sites since the last update, and all of them got their PR set now. The ones created several months ago, as well as the newer ones.

The fast visible PR is just a coincidence.

Sorry, but it is possible to find out your pages real pr instantly. www.pagerank.net is one of many free service to do so. Besides the toolbar pr can be faked!

pagerank.net shows toolbar PR. There is no way of knowing real PR, No data regarding it's value is available to anyone outside google.

Um, actually page rank.net doesn't show the tool bar pr. If that were true when I look at the tool bar for www.3dgamics.com which says 2 page rank.net wouldn't say its a 4! You can also check out the post here with the 105 SEO tools or whatever. There is a live page rank tool which shows different servers and your max and minimum pr that your site can have. All are correct and work.

Yeah it shows the toolbar pagerank on different datacenters, Which is also why you sometimes see different results when comparing the PR displayed in the google toolbar and the pagrank at a PR checker sites. They are simply querying different datacenters to retrieve the toolbar PR. none of it is current and none of it is "real" PR.

The only way to see your "live" PR is by accessing Google's database, and nobody but Google has access to that.
