I run an entertainment new site called Valley411.com and have a few pages with syndicated new, like movie reviews, sports betting odds and stuff like that. See here: Movie Star News

Do these syndications help at all with SEO? If so, to what extent? I know Yahoo likes unique content, so it must not be that good foor Yahoo indexing.

rss feed will help you to get more traffic

Trichnosis is right; rss feeds will ( or at least should ) bring you more traffic. It won't necessarily have an effect on your search rankings, although if somebody subscribing to your feed likes it, they might add a link to your site through theirs, which would help a small amount with SEO.

But then the whole point of SEO is to get more traffic, so ...

Thanks, but that seems a bit off. Or perhaps i didn't ask my questions properly. I have a website that post feeds on. the pages are updated daily or weekly or whatever. People cannot subscribe to my feeds, because my feeds are pulled from the syndicators. SO i am just displayingcontent on my site.

Is there SEO value in that as content would have on a site, or since it is syndicated, and dynamicly created, it adds no real SEO value???

Does that make sense?
