One thing you might consider is how your signature link is a fully qualified URL, while Chris's and mine are short phrases. Which style do you think people are more likely to go to Google and search for? Change the anchor text in your sig to include a keyword or two ( pickadeveloper != developer ). Anchor text in foreign links is incredibly important; I rank #3 for Seattle night photos, even though the phrase doesn't appear on the page. Signature links don't help much, but every little bit helps.
It doesn't look like you have any recognized links in Google yet; visit the "submit to my directory" forum on this site. In particular, have a look at AboutUs; my entry was created automatically. If you don't have one already, they're very easy to create. Just do a search for your domain, and when it's not found, there's an option to start the article.
Have a look at this blog post on free web promotion methods.
Put up a few quick and easy projects, and find someone in the marketplace forums here to do them for you, so your project list doesn't look so barren. Maybe even write a few articles on things that have been going on in your industry?
Like Chris says, there's no software to do things like this for you, but there are people whoa re happy to offer advice and answer questions.
