Interesting concept. It's too bad I didn't notice this thread earlier; I saw "Free PR 7" and figured there can't be anything good in here. My mistake.

I might put something into this, but I wouldn't look at it as an investment. Banks are profitable because they lend out enough money and charge enough interest to get sizable payments every month. If you lend someone $100 for a year at 3 % interest, the $9 a month won't make a noticeable difference in most peoples' income. You'll get your money back and a little extra for interest, but it's certainly not a windfall.

On the same note, I wouldn't lend someone money just to get a link. I didn't look at their code, it may or may not be nofollow, or indexed, or carry much weight. I'll probably put my foot in for karma points, but really just because it's a good thing to do. Mudslides and tsunamis are out of my control, but $25 for a year so to is within my reach. If I get a good link out of it, that's great, but if I don't, I can live with that.

If anyone's curious, I'll post how it goes when I find out.

Anyways, we still have homeless people is the point, if I was going to give money to help someone improve something, we should be eliminating our own homeless people. In some areas it has got so bad there are actually homeless tribes (yes that is what the newspaper called them) living in CA. Well we are one of the richest states in the country, you think we would have good working things for our homeless people to do. OR make being home less against the law.

B) I agree that if we are paying a certain amount, then you will be able to turn a profit but a year's time for someone across the country, seems very risky bet to me.
