Hello,

This month i realize that same websites with different domains (for example http://www.gardasoft.com/ and http://www.gardasoft.co.uk/) have problems with ranking. I found the same problem 2 weeks ago with another websites that one domain is main and other is forwarded.

We used to have results for both in top 10 . We used to have 33 listings on page one for main and 12 listings in top 10 for forwarded domain. But now the 2nd one drop from anywhere? Does anybody have the same problem ?

Dupe content.

You need 301 redirects. Or robots.txt.

Dude, this is not the right answer. I am talking about dropping from 13 top 10 results last month out of Top 10. I am asking does anybody notice the same problem ?

Actually it is the right answer, 301 redirect one to what you want to be the main hostname (you are currently using a 302 redirect)

make sure you sort out the www & non-www canonical problem for both sites and the /index.php issue for all versions

I agree with Chrishirst. If you have two domains with essentially the same content, use one domain for a 301 redirect to the other one instead.

it might not cause by domain name.
concern is the content, make sure both site is not duplicating, google will see it as spamming.

and new websites will ranked high. And once it pass the 1-2 months time, it will drop to no where.
