Dear friends

I wanted to know the more we posts on a single forum the more the back links will be considered, provided you have link in signatures?
Does Crawlers counts it as one back link or back links as many as you have posted.?
i hope i have make my question clear
regards
Joey

I'm sure that Google has a way of knowing what is and what isn't a forum signature. You may get a few extra pieces of gold for it, but I don't imagine a lot.

If you do a view-source, it's pretty obvious you're looking at a forum with big repeating sections and a buncha links at the bottom of some of them. I'm not sure if Google knows ( or cares ) whether it's a forum or blog comment, but they can tell these are easy links to get, and don't signify any value of a site.

I think one link from a forum is as valuable as a thousand from that forum.

Depends on how many times the search engine crawlers would index your forum posts.

Well if you are hoping or planning that forum signature links will be of any value in your "link building" strategy, you are heading for a huge disappointment.

I think they only count 1 backlinks in every forums. Just as we had seen in checking google backlinks(link:example.com)... I have many sig links in many forums but it only count as one in a google query..

What SHOWS under your backlinks and what links Google KNOW ABOUT are two totally different things. A third is what Google THINKS about all of them.

In most cases, multiple links from the same domain aren't helpful.

Also, since no one pointed it out, but we can all read between the lines, I'll say it. If you post only for the signature links, your posts will be deleted, and you'll eventually be banned. Occasionally "Me too" posts are allowed when they make sense in context, but that's very rare. To earn those signature links (that's right, I said they're not free) you should make yourself a member of the community and contribute posts that are worth reading.

No one can really say for 100% sure but in my opinion I don't think that multiple links count all that much more.

well, for me, i have plenty back links came in forums but I also wonder if google counted this as one.. IMO, This is is counted differently, depending on the thread or topic you post if this is relevant or not.

IMO, It depends on what SE is it. As for Google, it seems that it counts the IBLs as one while the other SE count every back link in every post.

Not really. that sounds dumb.
More links are definitely good, but forum links may not have the sort of value you expect.

Some forums contribute, some don't. For those that do, it's worth it for direct explosure and rankings.
