Let's address and undress the topic once and for all.
PR looks good to the eye (eye candy), but other then that it does not help improve your SERPs ranking.
A couple of my new sites have PR0 and beat sites that have high PR rankings.
PR can be useful for advertising purposes, but other than that just a useless stat
