My blog ( http://www.Great-Library.com ) scores 3. My latest post, "How Al Gore Got His Groove Back" is one of more than 120 posts. A few of them are pretty short, there are some pertinent quotes, the wonderful ending to Gatsby, a few YouTube videos, stuff like that. But the vast majority of the blog's content is intellectual, stimulating, and "fresh" in the sense that I'm talking about very modern ideas and scientific concepts.

And plenty more. How is it possible to be so unauthoritative? The content speaks for itself and the titles are clever - why aren't people taking notice?

Technorati's authority is based on how many other blogs (or sites?) link to yours. I think it's also over the last six months. So if your authority is 3 it means there are 3 other blogs linking to yours in the last six months.

It's based on the blog too. So if I linked to you a dozen times it still only counts as one for your authority.
